Huntsman to Increase MDI and MDI-Based Systems Prices in Europe

The Polyurethanes division of Huntsman Corporation(HUN:NYSE) announced today that it will increase the price of all MDI products and MDI-based systems by €200/tonne in the European region as soon as agreements allow, but no later than April 1 2010.
Nick Webster, Vice President, Europe for the Polyurethanes division said "This price increase is necessary to achieve re-investment economics and address the significant further increases in our raw material costs."
